This project proposes a facility to foster a strong sense of place and belonging within the community, while relating to the surrounding landscape.

The Youth House offers a diversity of “universes” or indoor territories that stimulate exchanges between generations, as well as cultural transmission. Flexibility in the layout allows for greater ownership or appropriation, according to the changing needs of young and old. The objective is also to encourage citizens participation in the construction, by way of prefabrication of structural elements to offer possibilities of gradually adapting the spatial layout.
